Forum Factoids -- re: nonDEAD, Dead, OWS, Taper Handbook, and Taper Compendium
After posting Dead stuff for about two years, I organized many of the Factoids around here, and I put together a few handbooks and journals. Many of my subsequent posts were created to give more structure and content to these handbooks. Don't confuse my intentions, my journalism, and my statistics with others, especially when it's obvious and clear what I was doing.
Yes, LiA could also be lumped into journalism. Actually, LiA created a blog. I posted and linked several of LiA's blogs and put several of them into my Taper's Handbook.

A new Taper Compendium was something people were asking for, so I created a demo compendium, and I cited a path for putting a new one together.

My Taper's Handbook for The Archive was something that was completely missing from this site, so I created one for anyone to use.

The Occupy Wall Street Journal(s) I penned is / are the only one(s) I have seen on The Archive. Not to mention, I created several informative Movie Items for The Archive's OWS Collection, and I brought several engaging OWS conversations to the OWS Forum here. So basically, I was doing some journalism posting, and then I was organizing huge amounts of information and media content.

Let's not forget I also taped a boatload of shows in the early and mid-1970s. It took me awhile to put everything together and get most of my tapes put into circulation over the past four or five years, but I got the job done.

I would argue that these achievements define me a Digital Librarian here -- so let's get the Forum Factoids straight this time. For your information, I retired dead-head_Monte recently, and now these stats will not grow.

...no need to argue, you can simply state it. Unless you'd like us to argue...but that would be counter-productive. Your bluegrass recordings alone place you in the pantheon of legendary uploaders at LMA. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Very cool link to all your other links/projects. Thanks for posting that. Wish I had caught Charlie & his band when he was in Norfolk, being a Virginian myself. I have a feeling we might have a few mutual friends.
